Join SnapRetail's growing sales organization where you have an opportunity to achieve your own personal compensation goals through a combination of  base salary, commissions and bonuses by selling software to independent retailers throughout North America who are anxious to implement online marketing and social media strategies to drive store traffic.

As a member of SnapRetail's inside sales team, you will be primarily responsible for growing sales within your assigned territory through the following activities:

  • Follow up on leads generated by the SnapRetail Marketing Team
  • Create your own leads by doing your own territory research
  • Make outbound calls to new prospects in your territory
  • Participate in regional and national sales events such as shows, presentations or webinars
  • Work with a growing number of marketing/affiliate partners to help drive sales in your territory
  • Sell primarily through phone relationships and online demos using web conferencing
  • Work with customer service reps (marketing consultants) to support and nurture your customers
  • Meet monthly sales goals

Required Experience

We're looking for individuals with proven phone sales experience who are enthusiastic, embrace online marketing, email marketing and social media and have a passion in selling a product to help retailers grow their business. Specific requirements include:

  • Phone sales experience of greater than one year
  • Extensive use and knowledge of web sites and social media sites like Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter and understanding of email marketing
  • Exceptional verbal communications skills, including the ability to be persuasive as well as to listen and close
  • Outgoing personality
  • 2-3 years of retail, sales, or customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft and/or Google products, web conferencing software and CRM software (we use SugarCRM).

As SnapRetail's Build and Deploy Engineer, you will work alongside our top-notch product development team, collaborating, brainstorming and building systems we can all be proud of.  You will own all-things dev ops and lead the effort to bring maturity to our systems and processes.

 

Tools and technologies we use: .NET 4.0/4.5, Xamarin cross platform mobile development tools, Jenkins, VersionOne, WCF and RESTful web services, NHibernate, Graylog2, Pingdom, Selenium, Raven DB.

 

Your Responsibilities
  • Administer Visual Studio project structure, MSBuild, and Nuget:
    • Compile Visual Studio projects from the command line and MSBuild
    • Debug any Visual Studio issues resulting from incorrect assembly references
    • Parallelize operations in MSBuild, writing custom projects that are extensible and flexible
    • Knowledge of Microsoft assemblies and versioning
    • Experience with the Nuget packaging systems
  • Review, verify, and debug SQL Server migrations scripts using T-SQL commands and SSMS
  • Write SQL queries that perform CRUD operations so that production data is safe to use in test environments
  • Hands-on experience driving and owning a migration from a hosted to a cloud-based architecture
  • Develop new and maintain existing build and deploy scripts, testing them thoroughly to minimize risk to production
  • Set up IIS websites as part of a NLB cluster, creating bindings and configuring certificates
  • Set up IIS managed applications, creating and configuring applications pools, monitoring application pools for performance issues
  • Deploy application code to web applications through the use of the Web Deploy framework
  • Configure and maintain the Jenkins Continuous Integration software and ensure uptime of Jenkins slaves
  • Configure and administer Umbraco content management system using  the Courier deployment tool for transferring content from staging to production
  • Establish enterprise-quality logging and monitoring system and escalation processes:
    • Configure logging daemon for sending messages to the logging server
    • Possess enough domain knowledge to determine what is useful information to extract to troubleshoot our application

  • Experience working with Graylog, Pingdom, and NHibernate

Your Responsibilities

The Level 2 Support Engineer will work closely with Snap's customer service team (called Marketing Consultants) to resolve incidents reported by customers related to our software and communicate back to the Marketing Consultants status updates and solutions as issues are closed. This individual will field incoming reports of bugs, performance issues, and other technical issues with the software. S/he will be required to perform technical troubleshooting and data analysis to triage and diagnose issues, and work with the Engineering team to fix any bugs identified. Finally, the Level 2 Support Engineer will document cases and bugs in the CRM system, so that the Customer Support team can be updated and communicate resolution to customer. As a member of the Engineering team, this person will also have opportunity to assist with other areas of our software development, including QA and development projects.
