HERE IT IS!!! CHECK OUT OUR SEPTEMBER 2016 CLASS SCHEDULE!
Here is a little bit of what we have planned for your SEPTEMBER Classes and a few updates about classes!
- Stamp of the Month class~ After 20 years, sometimes all things must end and such is the case with this monthly stamp program. We for one have loved it and I know you have too, but Great Impressions has decided to no longer offer this program. Not for lack of success, but they are trying to slow down and ease into retirement! Good for them! No worries...we still have LOTS of great card classes planned
- MORE Wood Craft Class...AND we have added a WOOD CRAFT Wednesday....more on that below!!
- Mini Books- These are still all the rage and we have TWO planned this month!
- Planner Meet-Up~ This is VERY NEW for us, but we are SOOO excited about it! We have a Planner Meet Up planned for the month, and will send our more detail once the actual planners get here!
- Make-It-Mondays~ We have SO MUCH NEW STUFF that is will be impossible to teach a closs on EVERYTHING, so I came up with Make-It-Mondays! On "most" Mondays, we will have a demo/ show and tell time from 12-5. This will be a great time to stop in and see how some of the newest products work or what techniques you can do with them.
- AND THE BIGGEST ANNOUNCEMENT OF THEM ALL.......THE Jenn Shurkus from Lawn Fawn will be here the first weekend in October! We will have lots more to announce about this soon, so stay tuned!!

| Jenn lives on Cape Cod, with her kitty Mister Harley and her boyfriend Chris. She’s been papercrafting for over 15 years, and has played multiple roles in the paper craft industry as an independent store manager, designer and teacher. With a degree in graphic design she is also Copic and Ranger certified. Jenn loves to show people new and clever ideas to design their cards and projects. She has a flair for the “artsy-fartsy” without going over the top. She designs her projects in the way to inspire, but not intimidate. Jenn is eager to share her creative passions with others and encourage their artistic growth. She currently teaches in person and online classes as well as hosts Loft Art Retreats. What she will teach-
Right now, we plan to offer TWO different classes on multiple days so that hopefully everyone can get into a class!! As soon as her flights are set, we will announce class times!! Friday and Saturday for sure...maybe even a Sunday class too!!
Wicked Fun Fall & Holiday Cards with Lawn Fawn
In this class you will create 5 handmade greetings perfect for the Fall and upcoming Holidays with whimsical Lawn Fawn images! We will be using the latest products from Lawn Fawn including stamps, dies, papers, and inks. Create with Copic (artist-grade) markers, Distress Inks, glitters and other fun supplies. - just to name a few of the techniques you will play with. This class is perfect for all levels, even if you have never stamped before. Cost: $30
Distress Ink Techniques for Cardmakers with Lawn Fawn
Make your cards bright and fun! Jenn Shurkus will be sharing practical ideas for using distress inks to create colorful backgrounds for your cards. You will create 4 handmade cards for the fall and holidays while learning different Distress Ink techniques using stencils, dies, inks, and more that will set you up for endless card-making possibilities. You’ll even learn how to bring your stamped images and backgrounds to life by using distress inks as watercolors! Cost: $30
*there will be specific distress ink pads everyone will have to bring for the distress ink class-Full size or minis will be fine!

Wood Craft Wednesdays
With SO many new choices of wood products that we are offering we simply cannot offer a class for them all!! So, Welcome Wood Craft Wednesdays!! Come in and craft with us for just $5! We will supply the paint and glue for your wood craft project, that you purchased here, while you supply the paper and any wire or other embellishments! We will be here, of course, to help you get started, but this is not a formal class. More of an open workshop. IF you are really ambitious and want to complete ANOTHER PROJECT...each additional project will be just $3. Again, this cost is for paint and glue only...no paper or embellishments are included. Craft time will be from 11-5. We will not allow anyone into the work area after 5pm, as you will not have time to finish your project before we close. We plan to have these 1-2 times each month to see how they go! |
