Hi, BirdWatchers!
We hope your holidays were wonderful and we wish you the best in the New Year! Now that the craziness of the Christmas season is over, we plan to relax and catch up on our birdwatching. Winter brings us many feathered friends that breed in the northern U.S. but spend the colder months here in the South.
Dark-eyed Juncos and White-throated Sparrows are common winter visitors. You can attract them to your yard with White Millet, Sunflower Meats and Cracked Corn. They prefer ground or platform feeders.

Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow-rumped, Pine and Orange-crowned Warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers are all attracted to suet. Suet is very high in protein and is a great supplement when there is a lack of insects.
Suet can be offered in cakes, or as Suet Kibbles or Suet Nuggets mixed in with your birdseed or served in a dedicated feeder. Live and freeze-dried Mealworms are other yummy snacks your birds will appreciate. Wrens, Bluebirds, Phoebes, Titmice and Hermit Thrushes all love them!

Watch your feeders for Purple FinchesPine Siskins and Red-breasted Nuthatches. Cole's Nutberry Suet Blend, Special Feeder and Finch Friends contain many of their favorite quality foods and will attract a wide variety of winter birds.
