Water Project
Last year a large water line replacement project started on Caroline Street. Working a block at a time the work was done from the 1100 block to the 700 block. The work is starting up again this month in the 600 block. While the work is going on there will be no parking on one side of the 600 block during weekdays. We will be open during the construction and parking will be available in all other downtown locations. This work has to be done and now it's time for the 600 block.

February Birthstone
Amethyst, February's birthstone, is considered the finest variety of quartz because of its rich purple color although it can range from pale lilac to deep purples. The pale lilac color is sometimes called Rose De France. Amethyst in the market today is usually heat treated to enhance the color. The heat treatment is permanent.
