The good folks at Moda have teamed up with Miss Rosie's Quilt Company to bring you these easy-to-use "Recipe" Cards!
Each Cake Mix pack uses a Layer Cake, a package of 10-inch fabric squares. The Cupcake Mix packs use two Charm Packs of 5-inch squares.
They are super simple, and so versatile! Make a variety of blocks as shown on the front of each pack, or get creative with your pieces and create your own! Each pack will make approximately 40 different blocks.
Enjoy this short video tutorial on how to use the Recipe Cards, then head on down to The Little Shop so you can start baking those quilt blocks!

Row by Row has officially begun! The theme this year is "On the Go!" In case you've forgotten, here is how it works:
- Participating shops are all across the US, Canada, and now parts of Europe! Visit RowByRowExperience.com to see a map of all the shops!
- Each shop has a FREE pattern to give out to all visitors June 21 through September 5. Limit one free pattern per person.
- Shops have optional kits and other goodies to purchase. There is no limit to the number of kits and goodies you can buy!
- Patterns and kits are available in-store only. They cannot be mailed or shipped until November 1.
- Do you love contests? Be the first to bring in your finished Row by Row quilt with at least 8 different rows, and win 25 fat quarters! The Little Shop's winner will also receive a $50 gift certificate if our row is included in the winning quilt! (Finished means quilted, bound, and labeled.)
Our row is entitled "Hometown Pride" because we are proud to be in the backyard of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base! The blocks in our pattern are paper-pieced, but they can also be made with traditional piecing.
We can ship a bit of The Little Shop right to you! We are adding new products each week to our online webstore! Fabrics and patterns, books and notions can be delivered right to your doorstep, and you can even shop in your jammies! This week, we have more than 370 Fabrics listed in our Webstore! Our NEW Quilt of the Month is here! This is Stars and Four Patches done with a lovely array of reds, whites, and blues! She is a big one -- the last row of stars is just barely peeking out from behind the shelf in this picture. It measures 72 x 90 inches.
For those in our QOM program, the pattern is only $1 throughout the month of July! You must pick these up in person, and no one can sign for someone else's pattern. You decide if you want just the pattern, or if you'd like to have the kit this month. Not a member of our QOM program yet? YES, you can still join in the fun! Ask any Little Shop Staff Member for all the details! The regular price of the July kit is $84.99, but those who signed up for the program in January get a special discount during the month of July!
