Dear Friends,
As with most news about our brand, I prefer that you hear it directly from me first. It is in this vein that I share with you my decision to close our Michigan Avenue location at the end of this month.
For over two years, we have lived out a "Cinderella story": from Mount Greenwood to the Magnificent Mile. (The Magnificent-friggin'-Mile, peeps! 😮) It's a story I can't help but be proud of, and one that has only been made possible by the help and support of so many of you, our loyal customers.
I truly believe that part of what has propelled our brand over the past eight years is our ability to listen to our customers' needs and adapt and grow to meet them. As many of you know, the retail landscape is changing, and I would be doing a disservice to both you and the brand if {bu} didn't change with it. With this in mind, I have decided to pursue growth strategies that look beyond brick-and-mortar expansions.
So what's next? We're almost ready to share, but not quite. However, I'm thrilled that the next chapter in our story will center around meeting our customers where they are and customizing the {bu} experience to help take them where they want to be. Stay tuned!
In the meantime, head on over for the final weeks at our Michigan Avenue location in the Shops at North Bridge to catch some door-buster sales and bid farewell.
