Why NOW is a Great Time for Instruction
In a few weeks it will seem like all you're thinking about is ball. From team practice to games to playing catch in the yard, the spring and summer will revolve around that stitched leather. Thinking of adding another commitment might seem crazy, but this is one of the best times to develop valuable skills that your kids can use on the field as they learn.
Team practice is a great way for kids to learn the game and bond with their teammates, but team practice is about the team not the player. It's unrealistic to think that the coach can give every player the attention they need to grow and develop during the 2 hours they have. With 12 players, their focus has to be on general skills and strategy that will be most effective.
Setting up a video analysis is a great first step in getting your player to see what area she needs to focus on to improve her game. An instructor can watch her swing, record it, and sit down with you and her to talk about what she's doing well and what to fix to help her.
Adding time to work individually with an instructor may seem like the last thing you have time for on your busy calendar, but it's the best way to continue the repetition and reinforce what they practice with the team. You'll see improvement in your player's game and his confidence this season.

We've been having a blast this training season! We celebrated our last winter practice with our annual Wiffle Ball game.
Our Aeros have been killing it this winter. They're going to have a great high school season and an even better summer!

Congratulations Jacob Woodburn! This month he committed to Southwestern College. Jacob is one of the hardest working players we know. He keeps everyone motivated with his positive attitude and focus on the end goal. Thank you for letting us be part of your baseball story, Jacob. We couldn't be prouder of you!
