Dear Friends,
Well I missed the email last week (sorry) I had a sick kid and a lot of paperwork to do after the retreat. We had a great Mother's Day weekend at my house and I hope you all did as well. We got together for a family dinner and put up a huge pool at my house. Grandma here at the store bought all the grand kids a pool. And it was chosen to be put at my house! Didn't think it was such a big deal until it took over 2 days to fill (that was with 2 hoses and 2 trips with a 1,000 water tank) didn't realize how much water a 26ft by 52in pool would hold. My water bill is gonna be hefty. And I had like 6 extra kids show up at my house last night to swim! After Karen gets her house built I'm gonna recommend it be put at her house next year!
We had a fabulous scrapbook retreat last weekend! Cinco De Mayo theme was a hit with all the mexican food, friendship and fun! If you haven't been to one of our scrapbook retreats you are really missing out. We have only 25 spots left for November's Christmas theme retreat and we have started reserving spots for April's 2019 retreat. Get full details on our website.
Mom and I just got back from my youngest daughter's 6th Grade promotion into Junior High next year! Wow how time flies. My girls get out Friday for summer break and I think we are all ready for school to be out. I had lots of plans on scrapbooking this summer to get caught up on some pages but with this nice weather we have been outside landscaping. All my rose bushes died (i had 17) of them so we are having to pull them up and replant. Lots of work but sure glad for this warm sunny weather to do it in.

- Jan's G45 Book Class Saturday, June 2nd 9am-3:30pm Cost is $62 to complete a book of your choice from our paper pads.
- $5 Friday's use our classroom on Friday's this summer to get caught up on your scrapbooking and craft projects. Each Friday 9am-5pm (some late nights open till 9pm) cost to use our classroom is only $5. Call to sign up to make sure we have space.
- Anniversar Sale June 8th 9-9 and 9th 9-5. This is our annual sale we do every June for all our customers who are in our data base. If you are in our system meaning we have your information and have shopped here in the past 1 1/2 years then you will receive a post card in the mail with your invite. You must have this postcard to receive your 30% off discount those 2 days. Your postcard is good for you and 1 friend. Your postcard invite is only good on those 2 days above. We will mail these out at end of month so you should receive it first week of June sometime.

Paint & Play Events
Join us this summer with your kids and/or grandkids for some fun crafting. We will be offering throughout the summer different dates that you can bring the kids in to paint 2 different wood pieces for $10 per kid! They will choose what they want to paint at class and all supplies are included in their $10 fee. Pre registration is required. This is for kids of all ages but we do require an adult to stay if kids are under 6. Call us to sign up and let the kids create this summer! June dates/times June 19th 10-11am; June 23rd 2-3pm.
