Quilting 101
You are invited to join us for our all new Beginning Quilting 101. Learn about the tools of the trade, what a scant ¼ inch seam allowance is. You will learn how to use a rotary cutter and mat among other techniques. Explore your creative side. Yes everyone has one. Expand your block knowledge. These aren’t your grandmother’s blocks. There are NO Y seams. Impress your friends and family on your knowledge of new techniques.
This class is 7 weeks long. You will be making 2 blocks a week.
When:August 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and September 4th, 11th and 18th.

CURVY RULERS AHEAD
Fasten your seatbelts and get ready to drive! You’ll be rounding corners, navigating curves and riding up and down with this class on curved templates. Learn how to read and use the markings on the templates, and the tricks for making half circles, flattened circles, and perfectly curved lines. Create beautiful quilting designs using swags, clam shells, ovals, arcs and half circles.
TOPICS INCLUDE:
• Use mini-circle, half-circle, and full circle rulers
• Master wave, arc, and clamshell rulers
• Measure and fit designs within a border
• Create curved crosshatching and ruler/background fill combinations
• Alternate methods with the HQ Pro-Stitcher and Groovy Boards

Pro-Stitcher Premium - Build a Quilt
After you've mastered dropping block designs and quilting edge to edge with the HQ Pro-Stitcher, Linda will guide you through expanding and strengthening your skills. This class focuses on in-depth aspects of specific functions of the Pro-Stitcher. Learn how to create continuous border and corner designs; easily digitize your own designs using features under the Record menu; and quilt on-point designs and areas larger than the throat space of your machine.

Soap making with Martha Ooten!
Grumpy Goat Farm presents a class in handcrafting your very own soap. Martha will guide you step by step on making your own soap with Martha's very own homegrown goat milk and other locally grown ingredients. Martha will provide the kits.
Class cost $35.00 The kits are $30. This kit WILL include everything you need to make a skin healing, honey, vitamin e, goat milk soap. The honey and goats milk is all from local farmers. You will go home with a mold and 11 bars of soap.

Belinda Harford
From Belinda's Studio, is a teacher and professional digitizer with a focus on developing techniques for machine embroidery. She is a traveling teacher and professional digitizer with a burning passion to share her work. For almost 13-years Belinda has been doing trunk shows globally in the U.S, Australia and South Africa. In 2014 she completed her Australia tour and is continuing her journey through the United States.
All embroidery makes and models are welcome. Please call us early if you currently do not have an embroidery system but would like to attend this unique embroidery experience.
