We love hummingbird season! Now that most young hummers are out on their own, moms are free to move about and adult males are already migrating...we get to enjoy a lot more activity at our feeders. Hummer wars are very common this time of year as they chase each other and fight over favorite perches, feeders and flower patches. Remember to change your nectar every few days in this heat so your birds will be happy and healthy!
