It's that time of year again - Christmas Bird Counts!
The data collected by observers over the past century allows researchers, conservation biologists, wildlife agencies and others to study the long-term health and status of bird populations across North America.

Marietta 12/15/18
Amicalola 12/15/18
Peachtree City 12/16/18

To join one or more of these counts, visit the Georgia Ornithological Society's Christmas Bird Count page and contact a compiler. Bird watchers of all skills can participate!

Teams count in urban and rural areas, neighborhoods, parks and greenways. Birding is done on foot, by kayak/canoe and by car. Dress warmly, bring your binoculars and field guides, and most of all, have fun enjoying nature during this stressful time of year!
