Winter Solstice Drumming Ceremony

The Winter Solstice. Deep into the Earth we go. Down into the dark recesses of winter hibernation. Into the womb of Mother Nature. Contact with the quiet place where the seed of life begins. Silently nurturing our souls’ rebirth.

But our drums will not be silent. With the beating of the drums we honor this most sacred of all holy nights.

We begin with smudge, and call in the directions. Followed by 4 Rounds of Drumming, each with a different purpose. The breaks in between will be time for special foods chosen specifically for the Winter Solstice, for the exchange of small gifts, for story and for ceremony.

Come with an intention you wish to manifest, to be born in the Spring. Bring a very small gift to give away, something with meaning, to honor a fellow drummer. If you have a drum or a rattle, by all means bring it with you. We have a few drums here we can lend if you need one.

The more the merrier!

As we can heal ourselves and each other with our Love and with our connection to Source, so also can we assist Mother Earth in her hour of need.
Meditation & Prayer, especially in groups, may be the single most important thing we can do to bring about Peace, Harmony & Evolution on our planet.

Each session is different.
We meditate together to dream a new world into being. We spend about 1-1/2 hours in discussion and meditation. This is how we become one with the creative force that is carrying us forward into a new world -
a world that we can now only begin to imagine.
