"FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Local Quilt Shop Featured in Better Homes & Gardens® Quilt Sampler® Magazine
The Little Shop of Stitches, a quilt shop in Miamisburg, Ohio, has been chosen as one of 10 shops from across North America to be featured in the Spring/ Summer 2019 issue of Quilt Sampler® magazine, published by Better Homes & Gardens. The issue will be available on newsstands on May 10, 2019. Quilt Sampler, published twice a year, has been profiling North America’s top quilt shops since 1995.
Competition to be included in Quilt Sampler is high—nearly 3,000 quilt shops were eligible to apply for this year’s honor. To apply, quilt shop owners submit a detailed application on their history, business promotions, charitable work, teaching schedules, and design philosophies. A panel of quilt experts, spearheaded by the American Patchwork & Quilting® staff, reviews the applications to select the 10 shops.
The Little Shop of Stitches and the other nine chosen shops were photographed and interviewed by a team from Quilt Sampler for a multipage profile that will appear in the magazine. Each shop owner also designed and made an original quilt. Instructions for that quilt will accompany the shop profile."

December's Quilt of the Month is called Hexagon Pinwheels! This month, we chose a happy array of reds and greens to create a quilt that reminds me of our Elf Workshop. :) We have kits in two different sizes, small (like our sample) and large.
