Yes, ladies and gentleman - it is hard to believe that it has been just a little over 2 years since Debe and I purchased Arizona Quilts!
What an adventure! We have said it many times, but we truly love being a part of this fun, creative and amazing industry!
We thank you, our wonderful customers, for your continued support of our store over these last 2 years ... we couldn't do it without you!
This year we are sharing our 2nd-Year-Anniversary Celebration, with "Local Quilt Shop Day"!
This worldwide event's focus is to highlight the importance of shopping at your local quilt shop and the enormous impact that has on the community - let's celebrate X 2.
Now here are the details of our celebration.
We will be having fun and food all day this Saturday, 1/26/19, starting at 9:00 am with hourly drawings* for great gifts
quilters are sure to love!

Collage Cactus w/ Gail will be held on Mon., Feb. 4 from 10am-4pm. This 11-panel cactus pattern is great. Laura Heine created a fun project. It takes time, but is well worth the effort. In this class you will begin to coordinate color using your imagination at all times. We will have lots of fun while exploring this desert masterpiece!

Girly Gym Bag w/ Karen begins on Tues., Feb. 5 from 9am-3:30pm for 2 sessions. This bag is more than just a gym bag! It's great for sewing supplies, knitting supplies, retreats or even going to the beach! Perfect to take on a trip as a carry-on bag!

Mod Cactus Quilt w/ Connie will be held Fri., Feb. 8 from 10am-4pm. Create this beautiful, contemporary Cactus Quilt using the Quick Curve MINI Ruler. Learn easy curve sewing techniques without the use of pins.

Poppins Bag w/ Nanette will begin on Sat., Feb. 9 fro 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm. This large zipper topped bag is great to hold all kinds of wonderful things! It is about 14 inches tall and 18 inches wide and has pockets inside and out to keep everything organized. Metal stays come with the pattern to help this bag keeps in shape. It can be made from a focus fabric or use 1 1/2 inch strips.

Phoenix w/ Gail will be held on Mon., Feb. 11 from 10am-3pm. This lovely, simplistic but symbolic Phoenix Quilt would be a great addition to anyone as they celebrate the Southwest. Youare able to creat in any color combination and will be amazed at how quickly it comes together! Grab your 1/4" foot and join us for a nice day sewing this great gift for yourself or someone else!

Free-Motion Quilting 101 w/ Carrie will be held on Thurs., Feb. 14 from 10am-3pm. Join Carrie and learn the basics of free-motion quilting on your domestic machine: from choosing thread, batting, & needlet to stitching on your quilt top. Learn free-motion fundamentals to create beautiful quilts while having free-motion fun!!

Dinner Plate Dahlia TOM #2 w/ Kelly will begin on Feb. 16 from 10am-4pm for 7 sessions. This is the newest of Judy's Technique of the Month patterns to be released in 2019. Once you have finished the series you will be able to do a large variety of other patterns.There are two pattern sizes to choose from. You will be contacted by Judy Niemeyer CI, Kelly Grant, for your pattern size selection.

Raw Edge Applique using Fusible Thread w/ Connie will be held Mon., Feb. 25 from 9:30am-3:30pm. Applique, the art of applying a piece of fabric on top of another to create beautiful designs. Choose your pattern and learn this great fast and easy technique for doing raw edge applique using fusible thread!
