And Sew On...  April 22nd, 2019

We Love the Stories!
If you have been receiving our newsletter, "And Sew On", for very long, you know that I do like to spin a good tale every once in a while. Ok, ok - more like weekly! With that said, these 2 quilters pictured above came in last week and shared our favorite stories ... their own!
First is 6 year old Miss McKenzie who brought her mom with her earlier this year to pick out a "Garden Variety" charm pack by Moda for a special project. This super cute patchwork was the end result of that special project that then became her entry into the Maricopa County Fair. My my - just take a gander to the upper right corner of her quilt. Is that a blue ribbon attached to it??? Why yes it is! Miss McKenzie was awarded a 1st place blue ribbon in her age group! We are so blessed to be a part of McKenzie's story and we are also excited that another next generation quilter has been raised up to enjoy the craft we all love!

Our friend Pat came in a few weeks ago seeking some direction on her latest project when Deb, our newest team member, helped her pick out these beautifully colored batiks. Pat's wonderful quilt (made from the Shadowbox Pattern which is one of our top sellers) will be a part of a charity raffle in Illinois for the
"Antioch Healthcare Accessibility Alliance" that focuses on under-privileged seniors in the Antioch area.
These 2 stories are a smattering of what we hear on a weekly basis and that we are honored to be a part of.
We invite you to stop by and share some of your stories and projects with us, as they are a fun part of what we get to do!

Happy Storied Quilting!
