OH HOORAY, OH HOORAY, OH HOORAY!!! Ohhhhhh SUN, where have you been? it didn't seem like we had much sun this winter. I just love it now when I go outside and see the beautiful flowers and trees in bloom again and the return of the birds we did not see during winter. The transformation from winter to spring is just amazing. Now, I won't mention the dreaded ALLERGIES (ugh), bugs and spiders, and not to mention that TORNADO alert in the middle of the night. What was that all about? That alert was jarring. I KNOW it's supposed to wake you up in case there is a true emergency, and it REALLY DID. And then that "take shelter" alert! You've got to be kidding right??? Who wants to go to the basement at 3:20 am??
Seriously? How do you go back to sleep after that? #tornadoalert #weehoursbasementshelter

We can't complain because we had a mild winter. It wasn't bad at all and you know what that means? We will have a boat load of mosquitoes this summer. The bane of all human existence...Right???? Can't wait!!! #lovethesun #hatemosquitoes

Along with celebrating glorious Spring, we here at Kershner celebrate the famous Masters Golf Tournament with a huge networking party known as the "Mini Masters"! What an outstanding party we had this year! It keeps getting better and better every year - this year was the 8th annual - HOORAY! We totally transform our showroom into a golf course and feature gold simulators, music, delicious food that everyone raves about, signature Azalea Drinks along with wine tasting by Vino Bambino, a beer garden and the Kimball Cantina - margaritas and all - hosted by the lovely Laurel Logan, a photo booth, cookies, candy, takeaway bags, raffle prizes tons and tons of people and the MOST beautiful golf shoe designs EVER!

This year 15 design firms participated in the 3rd annual "Par-Tee" Shoe Design Competition. The competition was fierce. The designers totally outdid themselves this year. They really put their heart and "sole " (LOL) into these golf shoes. Everyone loved every pair of golf shoes submitted. Then the magical moment happened when the winners were selected. So, without further ado (drum roll please) - the winners are:
Meyer Design - FIRST PLACE $500!!!
Bernardon and U Penn Engineering shared Second Place.
We are currently conducting voting for the People's Choice award - so VOTE VOTE VOTE for your favorite design. These designers will win Lunch or Happy Hour for their firm.

The Sandler HDS (High Density Stacker) is a collection designed by Lucas Fornasarig. The HDS stacks 20 high on the floor and 60 high on a single dolly! Yikes that's really high! The stacker is designed with reinforced polypropylene sitting atop a metal frame. It provides comfort and elegance in poly, upholstered, wood and outdoor seating. WHAT??????! I know....what's a "Sip and See"???? Well funny you should ask....I am so excited to tell you all about this event at Phillips Contract new showroom sponsored by Kershner Office Furniture, Interface and MDC Interior Solutions. We are teaming together to have the first "Sip and See" at Josh's totally amazing showroom in Fishtown (right next to the Fillmore). This will really be a must attend event. The first of its kind in Fishtown. It will be on the way home for most of you, so please stop in. Josh's showroom is ohhhhhh so New York (I previously covered in the last edition of the Gab). I know you will love it, love it, love it. We will be giving away a chair from Allseating (hooray for giveaways!!) We will also have light fare, adult beverages and wonderful views of the city!
