OpenStreetsPGH is inspired by the open streets movement – a global phenomenon promoting healthy outdoor activity and community engagement using city streets.
Explore the longest OpenStreetsPGH route ever with a 4.4 mile loop in Pittsburgh’s East End, including Homewood, Larimer, East Liberty, Shadyside, and North Point Breeze.

Faith, Fish Tacos, and Urban Farming

At the conclusion of the Pittsburgh Marathon weekend, Shadyside Presbyterian Church hosts a food truck and plant sale outside on the church grounds. The church invites the community to enjoy this outdoor gathering – at which Garfield Community Farm’s mobile market and Mission Mahi’s food truck will be present – following an afternoon service of worship on Sunday, May 5. Worship begins at 4:00 p.m., with the garden sale and outdoor dinner beginning at approximately 4:45 p.m. Garfield Community Farm, one of the church’s mission partners, will sell plants to start your summer garden. Mission Mahi will sell fish tacos and fries, as well as grilled chicken and vegetarian options, for dinner. Free light refreshments, including cookies and beverages, will be available in the church’s Parish Hall. Free on-street parking is available surrounding the church, which is located on the corner of Amberson Avenue and Westminster Place.
