Some people joke that Pittsburgh has two seasons - football season and construction season! In our lives, those seasons never end. Kids’ lives are like construction zones filled with speed bumps, potholes and detours. And just like every construction project, it takes time to build the best. We need your support to provide our kids with necessary tools to design the blueprints of their lives and to lay a strong foundation so they can be the Best of the Batch.

Join us as we host our 13th Annual In the Pocket fundraiser benefitting our Reading and Computer Literacy and STEAM Programs. The night will be filled with some friendly competition with Steelers players and local celebrities in ping pong, pool and poker, plus a great auction - and more! We hope to see you In the Pocket!

Thank You for Your Continued Support!

Does your company give funds for Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) or Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC)?

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program allows Pennsylvania businesses to earn tax credits, which can reduce their tax bill dollar-for-dollar, for contributions made to an approved Scholarship Organization (SO), Educational Improvement Organization (EIO), and/or a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization (PKSO).
Best of the Batch Foundation is approved for all three areas.

The OSTC Program provides tax credits to eligible businesses contributing to an Opportunity Scholarship Organization. Business contributions are then used to provide tuition assistance in the form of scholarships for students that currently live within the boundaries of low-achieving schools.
Best of the Batch Foundation is an approved Opportunity Scholarship Organization.
