We are excited to be offering two new traditional blocks of the month (BOM) that will be starting in December.
What do we mean by "traditional" BOM? A traditional BOM is for a set period of time (e.g. 6 months, 12 months) and will have a specific month when the program starts. But we will continue to accept sign-ups after the launch date as long as we have open slots. All blocks will be available on the 1st of every month, and each participant will have until the 15th of the month to come to the shop to pick up their blocks. After that, all blocks will be mailed to you and your credit cards will be charged for the monthly fee plus any shipping charges. These are "sew at home" projects.
Each BOM will have a nonrefundable registration fee and then a monthly fee for the duration of the program. This will cover all the fabrics and embellishments (if applicable) you need to complete the quilt top and binding as well as the pattern or book. Backing fabric is not included.
Each program requires a signed credit card authorization form, and this information will be kept in a secure place. Please remember you are committing to the fees for the entire program when you sign up.

MRS. MILLER'S APPRENTICE
Many of you have seen the sample of Mrs. Miller's Apprentice in the shop and are quite excited to signed up, but I wanted to officially communicate the details for everyone.
Journey to the mid-19th century and read Mrs. Miller's diary as she tells the story of meeting young Ellie who just moved into the neighboring farm with her widower father. When Ellie shows interest in learning to piece quilt blocks, Mrs. Miller takes Ellie under her wing, and not only teaches her to piece, but helps her learn many other housekeeping skills she will need to know. With Mrs. Miller's Apprentice, each month you'll join them in creating a beautiful variety of sampler blocks and read diary entries telling the story of their growing friendship. Even better, it's the perfect opportunity for you to share the gift of quilting with your own young protégé!
Indigo blue and light quilts were so very popular in the 19th century and are still a classic today! The quilt features several gorgeous Indigo blue prints, as well as many other shades of blue, and a blend of lovely light prints that make the sampler blocks sparkle! It's sure to be a treasured quilt in your collection.
This BOM program includes over 18 yards of Mrs. Miller’s Apprentice Fabrics by Pam Buda for Marcus Brothers and the Mrs. Miller’s Apprentice Patterns by Heartspun Quilts. Backing fabric sold separately.
Registration Fee: $20
Starts: December 2019
Duration: 12 months
Monthly Fee: $24.99, plus shipping if blocks not picked up in the shop by the 15th of the month.
