Anyone seen the Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC? No, this is not a commercial for the show, but OH MY WORD...it's incredible!
These people dedicate SO many man-hours decorating for Christmas and bring SO much JOY to so many people...it's inspiring!
Naturally, Elfis had to visit one of the Richmond homes that has appeared on the show...and WON!

The Phifer Family has been decorating their two side-by-side homes for the past 45 years! The two homes used to be owned by two generations of Phifers. In 2017, when the mother passed away, the son and his family were determined to carry on the over-the-top decorating tradition that his family started when HE was a boy!
They have thousands of lights, attached to plywood cutouts, plastic figures, wire figures. They take used and broken lights and rehab them to add to their display.
This is truly a work of HEART!

Elfis found some "notable" characters, including the Sesame Street gang and Mr. Phifer himself, the man behind the hot chocolate bar, and of course he was willing to pose for an ELFIS sELFie!

After seeing THIS many lights, ELFIS couldn't help but think "MORE, MORE, MORE"...more lights, more characters, more CHRISTMAS!
