Cheryl Martel. This session, Cheryl will be finishing up her Judy Niemeyer paper piecing technique of the month classes. The students' quilts are just beautiful and are all different. They are learning a lot and are amazed at the results they are able to achieve with this technique. We plan to offer other Judy Niemeyer classes in the next session if you are intrigued by this process.

Denise Johnston. We are delighted to offer four new classes in our Sewing Club series, which is typically the second Tuesday night of the month. We always try to introduce new techniques or using new fibers in the projects to expand your skills and exposure to new products on the market. February's class will teach you how to insert a zipper and use clear vinyl in your case. March's class will introduce you to sewing with silicone in your hot pad, trivet, and coaster projects. April's class will the use of a foam product and how to mold it to conform to different shapes. And finally, May's class will feature a lightweight mesh product that is just perfect for these lightweight drawstring backpacks for kids and adults. I can't tell you how much fun and instructive these classes have been. You are able to complete most projects in one class which is such a nice feeling!
Denise is also teaching a new bag called the Brimfield Tote. This is a great weekend or retreat bag for the intermediate sewer. The level of detail on this is incredible - from the padded handles with heavy duty bag hardware to the professional finishing touches of all the pockets. This will definitely be your "go-to" bag for short trips.
Denise will also be teaching the March Machine Embriodery Club, teaching you all of the secrets to get a professional looking results when embroidering towels. You will learn about specialty stabilizers and some of their unique properties.

Cindy Cantin. Cindy is one of our newer instructors who specializes in machine embroidery. She has done many, many "in-the-hoop" projects and is eager to share some of them with you. This session she will be teaching April's Machine Embroidery Club. In this class you will make a wallet, all in the hoop. This is a Pickle Pie Design, a very popular designer of ITH projects. These would be a great birthday gift or even give you a jump start on Christmas gifts. Sush! Don't tell.

Cyndi Rich. This session I will be focus on "learn to" classes, which are always popular at the shop. Last session, we experimented with a weekday morning LTQ class, and it was well-received. So we are offering the next class in the series (LTQ 2) again on a weekday morning. Learn to machine applique is another popular class where you will learn 4 different techniques for machine applique. Try them all to figure out which method you like best! Lastly, we will offering a class using the classic triangle in square block but with a modern twist. This block is greatly simplified with the use of the Deb Tucker V-Block ruler which utilizes an oversize approach to ensure your blocks are perfect every time. Just two fabrics will make a stunning quilt!
