I'm so excited for this machine for a lot of reasons, but here's my top 5:
- Wide format! YEEEESSS! 9 inches wide! Now my diecutting has room to spread out. I can even put dies sideways if I need them that way for my project, or I'm freed up to use wider format dies now too :)
- It has a no hold button! I'm an easily distracted crafter (Squirrel!) and I LOVE that I don't have to hold down the button. I can just start it and do something else. Now, I know, it only save a few seconds, but those few seconds can be loooong if you have a lot of cutting to do.
- It takes all sizes of Sizzix plates! oh, this is an important one... Because it has the unique property of having sensors the whole way through the machine, we can put in all of our Sizzix plates and accessories! You can use what you have :) Including the plates for the SideKick, which, as you might remember is one of my FAVORITES!!!
- It takes Bigz Dies. The only wide format electronic die-cutting machine to take the bigz dies. This one is BIG! (ha ha! get it?) I am crazy about the Bigz XL Alpha dies from Tim Holtz and these will fit!
- Small-ish footprint and lighter than expected. When closed, you only need a space 15 x 6 x 6.5 to store this fella... I don't know the exact weight, but I do believe it's also lighter than you might expect which would make it easy to move around if needed...
