November of last year, PBS, UNC TV came and spent a couple of days filming and interviewing us for a spot on NC Weekend. The segment will air next Thursday, February 20th at 9PM.
  • We are throwing pots for a March wood firing:
Lou is doing swirl vase, and face jugs,
Mike’s working on face jug orders and some inventory.
Janet will make some candlesticks and teapots for the firing.

  • If you are currently waiting on Traditions Pottery to complete your dinnerware set, Please continue to be patient. We hope to finish them up in the next 2 months.

  • The Catawba Valley Pottery and Antique Festival is March  27 (preview) and 28th.  We plan to attend the show and will have electric fired and wood fired items there. It is at the Hickory Metro Center.

  • In health news: Glenn is recovering nicely from triple by-pass surgery in August. His pace is different than before but for 80, he is doing great. Michael’s diet is almost normal now after the esophageal  cancer surgery, and treatment.  His next 6 month scan is in March. We are trusting in God’s healing hand and thankful for all the thoughts, prayers, calls, and cards that we have received.
