IT'S BEEN A LOOOOONNNNG TIME:(
Odd times to say the least... Us Batsy folks are eagerly looking forward to when we will begin to merge back onto the scene and see you all again!!
. We know people will need thrift shops more than ever. We also know that many have organized their homes and reflected on their priorities and are taking satisfaction in lightened spaces. They, too, are looking forward to the day BATS can help again and drop offs begin. (We've heard from both:)! We look forward to being able to serve the church and its schools again more actively from a BATS' pov.
We are certainly brainstorming and talking about new possibilities re: changes to some of our approaches in the unknown transition times , knowing we will want to get as many things into peoples' hands as quickly and safely as possible to help. Things will be done differently for awhile....We have nothing to announce except we are very much here in spirit, feeling grateful for all that so many are doing to help in this strange and challenging time, including untold patience and generosity.
We will keep in touch though there is little to say for now except....
WE MISS YOU!!!!

PS We were able to get sheets for sewing of hospital gowns into locals' hands. That felt good.
