Way before COVID 19 reared its ugly head, Debe and Susan had been meeting with our great vendors reviewing myriads of wonderful fabric selections that are, and will be, hitting our floor weekly!
You know how when you come into our store and there are several new collections on end caps and you say "I wish I could buy them all!"?
Now take that experience and multiply it by 100...That is Debe and Susan's challenge every time they meet with one of our reps. The phrase, "We wish we could buy them all," has been heard coming from the office regularly when vendors are in the house.
Also, considering that most reps come through our front door towing at least 2 full-size suitcases chocked full of fabric swatches and printed header cards, makes the term "We wish we could buy it all" a bit scary! Most of the time, the girls pull on the reigns and stay within budget, but they have been known to throw caution to the wind while putting a few extra goodies on the order sheet. As we start seeing vendors again, be assured that Debe and Susan are busy previewing collections that will be hitting our floor throughout the fall and winter.
At the beginning of the pandemic, many of our vendors contacted us
to see if we were able to receive shipments and also to inquire if we wanted to cancel any previously ordered products.
After some consideration, we all agreed that continuing to replace and renew our inventory would be the best plan of action with the result of having a store full of new, beautiful, and exciting products when we did re-open! To this point, I am attaching some pics of several new Christmas lines that are super fun to wet your whistle. We will continue to be getting several more Christmas collections and other awesome products in the coming weeks so keep an eye out to see what's coming down the pike!

Fiber Arts - Embellishing Your Projects w/ Deb will be held on Mon., June 22nd from 10am-4pm. Come and have fun adding some texture with fibers. Deb will show you how to add different fibers like sari yarn, rattail, thread painting and more to create your piece of art.

Convergence Quilt w/ Deb will be held on Thurs., June 25th from 10am-4pm. Convergence has arrived at Arizona Quilts! Ricky Tim's technique is imaginative and fun that all quilters will adore! You will only need 2 fabrics. Nothing could be simpler or more magical!

Fiber Arts-Mellow Meadow Owl w/ Deb will be held on Mon., June 29th from 10am-4pm.Relaxing in his favorite field, this barn owl looks completely relaxed while posing for his portrait in fabric. Adding Fiber Arts will make this piece a one-of-a-kind. We will be adding beads, feathers and paint.

Showcase Memories T-Shirt Quilt w/ Deb will be held on Thurs., July 2nd from 10am-4pm. Love those beloved t-shirts...the ones from concerts, events, vacations, that you've hung onto for years? Making a t-shirt quilt is a wonderful way to memorialize those special moments for yourself or a loved one. Gather your old faves and come learn time saving tips, tricks and design secrets.

Poppins Bag w/ Nanette will begin on Mon., July 6th for 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm (2nd session is July 13th). This large zipper topped bag is great to hold all kinds of wonderful things! It is about 14" tall and 18" wide and has pockets inside and out to keep everything organized. Metal stays come with the pattern to help this bag keep its shape. It can be made from a focus fabric or 2 1/2" strips. You might also be interested in making one of the smaller versions of the Poppins bag. You are free to choose the size!

Revealing the Mystery of the One Block Wonder w/ Deb begins Thurs., July 9th for 2 sessions from 10am-4pm (2nd session is July 30th). Though it looks complicated, this spectacular kaleidoscope quilt is easy to sew: the fabric does all the work! These beautiful quilts are made using only ONE print fabric for the body of the quilt and border - or you can use a different coordinating print for the border. Deb will teach you her time saving tips and tricks to create this "seemingly challenging" quilt.

Walking Foot 101 w/ Carrie will be held on Sat., July 18th from 10am-3pm. It's time to get your walking foot out of the ditch! Join Carrie as she shares her favorite quilting tool: The Walking Foot. You will make a six-patch quilt sampler. You will learn the basics of starting and stopping quilt lines, how to plan stitching paths that minimize back tracking, marking methods, as well as a variety of unique designs, all with your walking foot! No free motion allowed!

Fiber Arts - Photo Transfer w/ Deb will be held on Mon., July 20th from 10am-4pm. If you have a favorite photo that you want to turn into a piece of art, well here’s your chance. You will be shown how to print your photo onto fabric, the steps to set the ink so it will last forever, and then create a unique wall hanging. You can incorporate trapunto, thread painting, beads, whatever you want. The sky is the limit. Just let loose and be creative!

ABC's of Quilting w/ Susan will begin on Wed., July 22nd for 5 sessions from 9am-12pm. This is a great class for beginners or those who might want to freshen up their skills. Even if you have taken her class & would like to re-visit this, stop in and Susan can customize something just for you!

Let's Twist Again w/ Nanette will be held on Fri., July 24th for 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm (2nd session is July 31). Choose from a variety of projects in "Let's Twist Again" and learn to make pinwheels using the Twister Tool. Once you learn this technique, you can make table runners, place mats, wall hangings and even a quilt! Come on let's twist!

Sew Together Bag w/ Nanette will be held on Mon., July 27th from 9:30am-3:30pm.This cute little bag can hold all of your little sewing notions for a class, cosmetics for travel or anly little items of your choice. Do not let the 4 zippers scare you - the are super simple to sew in!

Free-Motion Quilting 101 w/ Carrie will be held on Sat., July 25th from 10am-3pm. Join Carrie and learn the basics of free-motion quilting on your domestic sewing machine: from choosing thread, batting, and needles to stitching on your quilt top. Carrie will guide you through a variety of designs, such as stippling, loops flames, etc. Learn free-motion fundamentals to create beautiful quilts while having free-motion fun!

Holiday Sewing Tree w/ Nanette will be held on Mon., Aug. 3rd for 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm (2nd session is Aug. 17th). Learn to machine applique by making this fun "Happy Holidays" sewing tree that is perfect to hang for the holidays or to give that special quilting friend as a gift! It's only 20"x31" and the color choices and fabrics are what make this class fun!

Fiber Arts - Stupendous Stitching w/ Deb will be held on Thurs., Aug. 20th from 10am-4pm. Create stunning textured fabric art to display on your walls, use in home décor and make into fabulous accessories. Combining hand embroidery, beading, decorative machine stitching and couching, this technique is fun and addicting. The fabric choices will help you make this an exciting and fun fabric art piece!

Intertwined w/ Susan will be held on Sat., Aug. 22nd for 2 sessions from 10am-3pm (2nd session is Sept. 19th). Come strip with me...no really - learn to use the Strip Tube Ruler or get reaquainted to create a fabulous quilt! No pre-work required! Come and have some fun with me!
