How many of you can remember sitting at a crisp, cool Friday night football game with a crowd of your hysterical high school classmates all hollering cheers in concert being led by the over peppy cheer squad?
My mind immediately raced to those images when I saw the graphics for our upcoming "I Love Fabric Days"! The cheer I thought of instead of a
football connotation was ...
"I Love Fabric - Yes, I Do! I Love Fabric - How About You?"
So in that spirit, we are hosting the 2020 "I Love Fabric Days".
With so many new and exciting collections coming in weekly, it's easy to get excited about these fun-filled days!
While Debe and I were away on a wonderful family camping trip, our team has been preparing for this week's "I Love Fabric Days" event starting this Thursday. We hope you will keep an eye out for the fun that's going to come! We will be posting the specials later this week so watch your email or Facebook!
We also hope you will make an appointment now to be a part of the excitement.

Create stunning textured fabric art to display on your walls, use in home décor and make into fabulous accessories. Combining hand embroidery, beading, decorative machine stitching and couching, this technique is fun and addicting. The fabric choices will help you make this an exciting and fun fabric art piece!

Happy Hauler Bag w/ Nanette will begin on Thurs., Aug. 21st for 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm (2nd session is Sept. 4th). Use your favorite panel to create this large tote bag that is 20" tall, 18" wide and 12" deep - so you can carry just about anything. Learn some different techniques for making this bag that are easier and less time consuming...and don't be afraid of the zipper!

Sun Catchers Table Runner w/ Martha will be held on Mon., Aug. 24th from 10am-3pm. The easiest of the curved pieceing projects. No set-ins or fitting curves together. Make the table runner in class - then let's talk about designing a larger quilt for you!

ABC's of Quilting w/ Susan will begin on Wed., Aug. 26th for 5 sessions from 9am-12pm. This is a great class for beginners or those who might want to freshen up their skills. Even if you have taken her class & would like to re-visit this, stop in and Susan can customize something just for you!

Animal Portrait Mixed Media w/ Deb will begin on Thurs., Sept. 10 for 2 sessions from 10am-4pm (2nd session is Sept. 17). Animal lovers, let's turn your photo into a work of art! You will learn a unique pattern design technique combined with mixed media & thread painting to create an eye catching art quilt! Learn to create animal portraits through realism applique, thread painting and paints, pastels, etc.

Jolly Twister Gnome w/ Nanette will begin on Fri., Sept. 11th for 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm (2nd session is Sept. 25th). Use a Twister Tool to create this whimsical winter gnome scene. Sizes range from 14"x18" to 67"x85" (with many in between) depending on the size of the Twister Tool you choose! Learn how to keep the twists all in order to create this cute holiday project!

Sage Country Christmas Tree w/ Nanette will begin on Fri., Sept. 18th for 2 sessions from 9:30am-3:30pm (2nd session is Oct. 2). Back by popular demand, you can get ready for the holidays with this creative Christmas tree. Using a layer cake or your holiday stash is a great way to make this tree. Nanette will even show you how to add lights to make your tree really sparkle!

Fiber Art-Cheesecloth Art w/ Deb will begin on Thurs., Sept. 24th from 10am-4pm for 2 sessions (2nd session is Oct. 1). Imagine using nothing but cheesecloth and thread to create a masterpiece of your own! This class will teach you how to do just that. Layering different kinds of cheesecloth, dyed cheesecloth and more, you will create a portrait that is unique!

Fiber Art-Create One of a Kind Fabric w/ Deb will be held on Mon., Sept. 28th from 10am-4pm. Learn to create one-of-a-kind fabric with specialty paints. How fun would it be to create an entire piece of art with fabric you created? You will start with a solid white fabric and go crazy with paint, stencils and more. Learn the different mediums to use for exquisite color on fabric. The sky's the limit!

Walking Foot 101 w/ Carrie will be held Sat., Oct. 3rd from 10am-3pm.
It's time to get your walking foot out of the ditch! Join Carrie as she shares her favorite quilting tool: The Walking Foot. You will make a six-patch quilt sampler. You will learn the basics of starting and stopping quilt lines, how to plan stitching paths that minimize back tracking, marking methods, as well as a variety of unique designs, all with your walking foot! No free motion allowed!

Fiber Arts - Painting Landscape & Sky Fabric w/ Deb will be held Thurs., Oct. 8th from 10am-4pm. In this class you will learn to creat gorgeous textures and effects that reflect the look of the land, sea and sky through the use of a special painting technique! Free-Motion Quilting 101 w/ Carrie will be held on Sat., Oct. 10th from 10am-3pm. Join Carrie and learn the basics of free-motion quilting on your domestic sewing machine: from choosing thread, batting, and needles to stitching on your quilt top. Carrie will guide you through a variety of designs, such as stippling, loops flames, etc. Learn free-motion fundamentals to create beautiful quilts while having free-motion fun!

Fiber Arts - Thread Play w Deb will be held on Thurs., Oct. 15th from 9am-1pm.
A great techniques class where the student learns how Deb creates images with thread, sew through layers of fusible web, add highlights, shadows and dimension to quilts. Deb has lots of tricks that help you feel more confident about doing free motion quilting, breaking all the rules while adding color and design with thread.

Fiber Arts - Creating Fabric Beads w/ Deb will be held on Thurs., Oct. 15th from 1:30pm-4:30pm.
Make your own beads for jewelry or mixed-media embellishment using fabric, glass beads, decorative threads, acrylic medium, paint and wire-all your personal style-bright, earthy, sparkly, elegant, muted, etc. Make about 10 beads in class and be inspired to make variations of your own!

Graceful Baughs w/ Martha will be held on Mon., Oct. 19th from 10am-3pm. You need never fear a curved seam again! This seasonal wall hanging features just enough ease curves for you to master this advanced skill and want to do more! Try your hand at making the smaller project in class. You'll leave with the expertise to make the larger wall hanging on your own!
