Hit the ground running in 2021 - Support PBM Reform
Because of the support of pharmacy owners like you from across the nation, our profession has achieved a historic victory; one that promises to reshape the financial landscape of the retail pharmacy profession. Congratulations to all!
Now the real work can finally begin and we must "hit the ground running" in 2021! I’m asking all New Jersey member pharmacies to contribute to IPA’s PAC so we can support the legislators who've worked so hard to shield us and our patients from the predatory practices of the PBMs. We need to ensure their ability to renew their fight for us now that it's been UNANIMOUSLY DECIDED that States have the power to finally regulate and control unfair PBM practices. It’s vital that we support candidates for office who champion PBM reform. As a fellow member, I’m asking you to support OUR agenda. JOIN ME in contributing $365, just one dollar per day, to advance our cause.
2021 Legislative Agenda:
- Carve out PBMs from NJ Medicaid and return to a fee-for-service system
- Require PBMs to fully comply with New Jersey’s pharmacy appeals and reimbursement laws
- Pro-Pharmacy PBM audit reforms
- Ending PBM Clawbacks & DIR fees for all plans
