A  Virtual Gemstone Adventure
  • In the comfort of your home, enjoy this virtual adventure using Zoom.
  • We begin with a photo presentation/talk on Lisa's travels to the small artisanal mines in places like Tanzania. 
  • Following along with a tour of her studio in Vancouver, Lisa shares with us the precision equipment she uses in the cutting process as well as the stages the rough goes through to become a completed gemstone. 
  • Lastly we will look at a dozen or more finished gemstones up close and personal and then you are free to ask Lisa any questions you might have.
  • This hour delivers a fascinating journey with a wonderful gemstone "wow" factor to end.

(We ran this event last spring in the first lockdown thinking it would be 45 minutes to an hour.  Guests had so much fun they didn't want it to end.  This time we thought we would wisely plan for 90 minutes)

Gemma Jewellery began in 2006. In our gallery we create fine jewellery, redesign existing jewellery, do repairs, and string pearls. We also showcase jewellery designers from around the world. Our 800 sq.ft. showroom is located in the award winning Alton Mill Art Centre in the town of Caledon just north west of Toronto Ontario Canada
