Heritage Days Vendors& Activities Announced
Preparations are well underway for the 2021 Main Street Heritage Days Event. It will take place on two days this year, Friday, June 4, and Saturday, June 5. Invitations are out to all categories of vendors to include art, craft, food, informational, and hands-on historical demonstration booths. If you think you might like to participate and/or have questions or ideas to help, please call 936-275-3172 or 936-201-9798.
Some of the vendor items already signed up to come will include, bottle wind chimes, decorative bottles, honey, chicken on a stick, alligator on a stick, shrimp on a stick, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, potatoes twist, cheese sticks, fried pickles, fried mushrooms, fried boudin balls, corn dogs, books on the Lewis Hotel, informational booths, custom made jewelry, bamboo sheets, custom made tumblers, and Pink Zebra line, BBQ turkey legs, brisket sandwiches, ribs, stuffed baked potatoes, stuffed turkey legs, sausage on a stick, and much much more!
Activities already signed up to come to include the kid's barrel train, tractor show, pancake breakfast, kids scavenger hunt, author corner, 1919 Museum open, walk-run, re-enactments, horseshoe farriers, mixed media art displays, cultural heritage displays, professional family photoshoot area, heritage windshield tour, on-stage live entertainment, Dutch oven cooking with samples, beekeepers, and the list goes on!
