Beginner's Lead Stained Glass
Instructor: Jim Berry

|
Students learn the basics of the art of stained glass including glass cutting techniques, design considerations, lead construction, soldering, framing and cementing.
Students will complete a lead panel with a cool abstract pattern which is provided, but using your own stained glass that you have selected.
Tuition: $160
Tools and materials are not supplied. Glass, tools and supplies will run approximately $300-$400 and are available for purchase at Blue Moon. (These expenses will be spread out over the 6 weeks.) If you have your own tools, please bring them to class.
One day a week on Mondays, from 6:30-9 pm for 6 weeks.

Beginner's Copper Foil Stained Glass

|
Students learn all the basics of the art of stained glass including glass cutting techniques, design considerations, copper foil construction, soldering and framing a stained glass panel.
Students will complete a copper foil project. We have many patterns to choose from, or you can supply one of your own (subject to approval). Tools and materials are not supplied. Glass, tools and supplies will run approximately $300-$400 and are available for purchase at Blue Moon. (These expenses will be spread out over the 6 weeks.) If you have your own tools, please bring them to class.
Tuition: $160
One day a week on Tuesdays, from 6:30-9:00pm for 6 weeks.
(May require some homework to be done outside of class time, depending on complexity of pattern.)

Stained Glass Art Strips

Get an introduction to leaded stained glass construction and a few little twists while making a gorgeous stained glass art strip that you hang!
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to make simple glass cuts, frame in lead, and solder. You get to select from a large selection of 3" wide pieces of beautiful stained glass, and then choose glass embellishments to make it truly a one-of-a-kind! Your finished panel's length will be about 21" long, and you will be shown how to solder hangers at the top.
All tools and supplies are provided.
Tuition: $95
This is a Saturday class from 10am to 1pm.

Kwirky Birds
Instructor: Lisa Sejnowski

|
|
|
|
Add a little springtime color to your window year-round with a whimsical suncatcher you’ve made yourself. In this 3 hour class, students will make one Kwirky Bird (choose from 4 styles), and learn to cut the glass, wrap it with lead, solder the pieces together and add that final kwirky touch of silliness with a decorative wire tail or top-notch. No experience needed. All tools and materials provided.
Tuition: $95
This is a Saturday class, from 10am to 1pm.
