Wow! Seems like ages since I have reached out to you, our Gift shoppers - how are you??  I had wanted to thank you for your patience during our closure / re-do / inventory ... but that was soo long ago well not really as we just finished moving things around once again to make room for another classroom so we can offer our customers even more 'fun' experiences!

We hope you will check out the workshop offerings as there are several options that do not include knitting or crochet! A chance to try something new including painting on canvas and pottery as well as needle felting! and we have added a book club - true they are knitting mysteries, but mystery books all the same. Check the calendar now. and join us!

As always, the new year brings in new Artisans and their products....  and purchases from new vendors; this year was no exception (even tho we are 2 months into it! - HOW did that happen?)

Sidehill Farms jellies: One of the first specialty food companies in Vermont, Sidehill Farm started in the 1970's when Dot and Ben Naylor resurrected old family recipes for artisanal jams and began producing them for friends and family. Folks appreciated the unique way Sidehill Farm makes their jam: No pectin or artificial ingredients, just boiled-down fruit and sugar, handmade and hand-stirred, which produces a jam with more fruit and more flavor in every bite.... just the yummiest and some awesome flavors! Pick up a jar or two now.

Nate's Natty Soap: from Nathan S. who is a freshman at Umass Amherst. Nate’s Natty is a brand revolving around simplicity and quality which he started as a junior at Algonquin Regional High School. Nate shares: In 2020, I was gifted natural soap and I pondered how to improve it. Subsequently, I did lots of research on the chemistry of cold-process soap and how different ingredients affect the final product. After months of iteration and research, I finalized my recipe and it was a great success. Today, I operate Nate’s Natty and pursue my educational prowess simultaneously. I love soap and I would love for you to try mine out!”

What a great story...  stop in soon and pick up a bar or two.

We have also picked up Mangiacotti; a "lotions & potions" company their products have been made right here in MA for over 20 years and packaged by people with disabilities. They are also aware that these products made today will affect our planet for future generations. Because of this awareness, they’ve focused their energy and resources on “greening” the Mangiacotti Collection.
They state: "Our collection design was inspired by the incredible people with special needs who package our products. Watercolor is their favorite medium in the art program we support. The beauty and simplicity of their artwork reflects the heart of Mangiacotti."

These products are made with recyclable materials and plant-based formulas that are hand-crafted with essential oils. They are never tested on animals, are proudly made in Mass and finished by people with special needs. Check out the video here
