It is shaping up to be more of a wind and sub-freezing temperature event in Metro Atlanta than an ice/snow situation. The stores should be open our normal hours, 10am - 6pm, but give us a call or check our Facebook page if the roads get bad later today as it dips into the teens. We want to make sure our staff and customers are all safe. Just make sure your feeders are full! ;)

There are many ways to create a haven for your birds during the harsh winter months--bird bath heaters and deicers, weather guards, clean nest boxes for roosting, high quality bird seed and calorie-rich suet and mealworms. We are happy to show you everything you will need!

New Year, new birds... Pine Siskins have arrived! They are not the flashiest of birds, but they are beautiful in their own subtle way; and we love their happy, buzzy zhreeeee! calls. Siskins are an irruptive northern species that we don't see every year in Georgia. The last time we saw big numbers was the winter of 2020-21. These guys can eat! Our flock of about 40-50 has been feasting at our feeders these past few weeks, favoring Sunflower Meats. Watch for them mixed in with American Goldfinches. Can you spot the Goldfinch in the pic above?

It's Market time! We are shopping downtown Atlanta at AmericasMart this week. Watch for fun, new merchandise heading to stores soon for the upcoming seasons. Let us know if there is something you think we should look for and carry in our stores. #AtlMkt
