Happy Halloween week! It's the time of year we like to celebrate our not-so-spooky neighbors--owls, bats, spiders and more! These guys are extremely beneficial creatures that play important roles in nature. It's a great time to put up an owl box or bat house, or just show your fondness for mysterious friends with a garden flag, tote, puzzle, wall art or more.

Vultures also fall into the "spooky" category, but these helpful carnivores are the sanitation workers of the bird world, cleaning up squished critters on our roadways and mindng their own business. Black and Turkey Vultures are both commonly found in Georgia.
