Spring migration is winding down. Most of the birds that breed north of us have already passed through. Summer residents like this Gray Catbird are on nests or already feeding fledglings.
|

Hummingbird feeder action is typically slow in May and June, but it's still important to keep them clean and filled with fresh nectar for when they do drop by.
Don't forget to change the ant moat water, too!

Our Eastern Bluebird babies fledged a few weeks ago and are just starting to join their parents at the feeders. We cleaned out the birdhouse, removing the old nest and brushing out dirt and debris, so it's ready for them to start a second brood of the year. :)
