We are heartbroken to announce that after 35 years, we will be closing our Roswell store on October 26th. It was a difficult decision, but this location has been struggling for a while, and it just doesn't make financial sense to renew our lease this Fall. We love this store; I trained there back in 1992 and Julia was hired to be the store manager there in 1997. It was the site of Georgia's first banded Black-chinned Hummingbird! We've had amazing staff and customers over the decades and many happy memories, and are so sad to see it go. Many thanks to our store manager, Rachel and her team for their hard work and creativity over the years, and especially in these upcoming weeks. Please show them some extra kindness and grace during this process.
We have no plans on closing any other locations at this time, but a lot of that depends on you guys. We know it's super easy to order merchandise online or pick up stuff at big box stores, but small, local businesses like ours are really having a hard time. Add tariffs and an unpredictable economy and it's a scary time to be specialty retail owners. We hope Roswell's customers will continue to visit us at our other four locations in the future. Our Marietta (East Cobb) store is just 7.6 miles away! Your Cole's Rewards Points will continue to be in the system and you can use them at any of our stores.
To move inventory out of Roswell, we will be discounting items starting today. Everything except Cole's Wild Bird Products and Brome will be 15% off, including previous markdowns at Roswell only. We will increase that discount in a few weeks, but will not be allowing holds, so if you are eyeing something in particular, get it now. It's a good time to score some early deals for Christmas gifts and decor! We will not be doing returns at that location after October 5th.
We are open today from 10am until 5pm (closing an hour early for Labor Day). Come see us!
