Fall migration is in full swing. Here's what we are seeing in our yards this week:

|
|
|
Moving water definitely brings in warblers, tanagers, orioles, vireos and more! Whether with a Water Wiggler or Solar Bubbler in a bird bath, or a natural stream or manmade water feature, birds like the Blue-winged Warbler (above) or Tennessee Warbler (below) can't resist moving water!

Offering fruits such as grapes and watermelon, or even live or dried mealworms can attract many different migrants like this Bay-breasted Warbler (below).
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Leave parts of your yard natural. Pokeberries are important fuel for many birds like this Scarlet Tanager (below). Most migrants fly at night, so try to turn out lights from 10pm to 6am to lessen light pollution and help them navigate safely.

We are overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity in response to our news that we will be closing our ROSWELL store October 26th. Today, we are increasing the store closing discount to 20% off everything in the ROSWELL store, including previous markdowns. We have been transferring tons of closeout items there from our other stores and you'll find some really good deals, especially gifts and Christmas merchandise.
