The Great Backyard Bird Count starts this Friday and runs through Monday, February 16th. Join biologists, birders and casual birdwatchers and count birds in your yard, neighborhood or favorite trail or park for science! Spring migration is just around the corner and Birds Georgia (formerly Atlanta Audubon) field trips are a great way to learn more about Georgia's resident and migrating birds. They are also a great way to meet other people who share your interest in birds and the outdoors. Beginning birders are welcome. If you need to borrow a pair of binoculars, contact the field trip leader in advance and they should be able to loan you a pair (or you can buy a pair from us with all those Cole's Points you just scored.) Most field trips are free and open to the public. Click here to view trips and details. Good birding!
