With extremely heavy hearts, we have to announce that we will be permanently closing our Buford store location on Sunday, August 23rd. It has been a very difficult decision. This location originally opened in Duluth in 1992, and moved to Mall of Georgia in 2006. The area was booming and the store was built adjacent to a planned nature center with beautiful walking trails next door. It seemed to be the perfect fit, but business has never been what we hoped, and continues to decline. Some days we may only see a handful of customers, and it is simply no longer financially sustainable. We love this store and its customers, and we did everything in our power to try to save it.
Buford customers can still use any gift cards and redeem earned Cole's Rewards Points until we close, and at our other three locations after 8/23/26 (see addresses below). If you have a Silver Forest card with us, you should pick it up soon. We are not planning a store closing sale at this time. Most merchandise will just be transferred to the remaining locations. We will be selling some displays, shelving and store fixtures at good prices in upcoming weeks. We will have our usual Hummingbird Sale in August, so watch for that email in a few weeks.
