Good Afternoon Great-Gardeners,
Hello from the Windy City. This past week we have been visiting the IGC show at the Navy Pier in Chicago. The last time we were here was when my daughter was 3 years old.
Since I have been gone all week. I have not had a chance to do my normal E-newsletter. So instead I am going to give you the low down on all the fun upcoming events for the fall season. Get your calendars out and jot down your favorite.

Create a pink-themed planter in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will also be accepting donation to the Richard J. Solove Research Institute at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, and Wilson's will match a percentage of your donation. |

Bring your own Boot - or Bowl - or Bra - or purse or shoe or any container and re-purpose it into a planter. Or you can pick out a container at Wilson's to fill with an assortment of easy-care succulents. |

Limit of 15 attendees so register early!
Plant a bulb pot for beautiful blooms next spring. We'll stuff a container with lots of different bulbs for plenty of spring color. We can overwinter it for you so the bulbs have the dormant time they need. You can pick up in February when the bulbs are ready to burst into bloom. After enjoying them in the pot, you can plant the bulbs in the ground for color the following year. |

Create a beautiful live planter that will last into the winter. When temperatures dip below 20 degrees move it to a cool, protected place and bring back out when temperatures warm back up. |
