Absolutely Everything
Once again, thank you to all of you, customers and staff, who helped us move on from our "old selves." I am happy to say that the phoenix is ready to rise from her ashes!!
We will "Re-Open" tomorrow, Saturday, February 28. I would say that 90% of the store is now made of  brand new items. We have a few stand-bys...can't live without Dina's paints,Tim's inks, Dyan's sprays...but there is still a ton of new.

I definitely do have a vision for the store, following my art/heart and what I perceive you all like as we enter the future...As you come in, the entire right side of the store is devoted to Mixed Media and Art Journaling. Pretty much the entire left side is dedicated to card-making. Of course, there will be plenty of overlap, as we are "artists", and cannot limit ourselves.

Going forward I am planning classes in Art Journaling, mixed media projects, mixed media card-making, Copic coloring, water coloring, Zentangle, Gelli Plates, book-making, and way more than I can think of at the moment. Again, I will entertain ideas for classes, too.

Terri will continue on with her super card classes, as well as book-stitching, and mini-book making.

Kate B is hard at work creating her usually great projects that we will turn into kits, and we will bring back the note pad kit as soon as possible (we are still catching our breath!)

I already have lots of my washi tapes in one of these new  (pictured below) storage bowls...will definitely be adding a second tier!!

We are getting ready to re-open with a special "Bag Lady" event, on Saturday, February 28. Bring your bag.,..you know the drill. If it fits in, 20% off. Given that, we will be re-instituting the 6-block cards (which have been on a short hiatus)  on Monday, March 2.

In terms of classes, we need to re-schedule the classes on the weekend of March 7 & 8-that is the color wheel class and the Copic classes. We are having diffuculty getting the materials we need into the store. If you are signed up, your registration will be good for the re-scheduled class, and if you cannot make thte date, we will do a full refund.

One more item...Marcia's Graphic 45 classes for the full year of 2015...four cards every month, using the great "Time to Flourish" papers from Graphic 45...this coming weekend, on Sunday, March 1, she will be teaching four cards with a February flair (I know...we are a bit behind, what with the sale and all...)
If you have already enrolled in the classes, and have the basic materials, each class is only $8, and Marcia will be pre-cutting a lot of the papers for you. Please bring a 12-inch trimmer, and a 12-inch scoring tool, if you have one.
There is room in the class series for two more people. The initial purchase is $48 for the full year's supply of papers and embellishments. Each class then is an $8 cost. You can come whichever months you like...you will need to call the store and register on a monthly basis, so we know how many to expect.
The class for March is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, from 1-4 pm. Please bring all your basic materials that you purchased before the first class.  We will do much better in getting this schedule to you earlier!!

I was really taken by the multiple facets and uses of this machine at CHA. We now have a few in the store.
Special Orders
We are definitely not done filling the store, and much of the new stuff is still to arrive, so please let us know if you are hoping that we will carry something you have had your eye on...I am open to suggestions!!
Even though we will be carrying a bit of a different mix of items in the store, we will be happy to special order sets of scrapbook papers, and other items that you don't see in the store. We have a great supplier, and as long as they can get it for us, we are happy to get it for you. If you know you are heading down (or up) for a visit, give us a 7-10 day lead, and we may be able to have it here in time for your visit.  Plus, we are still able to ship most items to you...just give us a call. 978-887-6397

(Please note: we do not ship individual pieces of 12 x 12 paper, and we will now do free shipping at $100.)

Super Fixture Sale!!
As it turns out we do not need all the fixtures we were previously using. We have an assortment of single and double wide 12 x 12 paper wire racks, in the $25-40 range. There are a few wooden fixtures (range-40-50$$) that accept hooks (fairly easy to find.) And, we have a few pieces of pegboard that you can mount at home. We have two sizes, 24 x 48, and 48 x 48, roughly...in the 10-20 dollar range. Fixture sales are cash only, and it is up to you to move them.

Here is the note (from Cathy) for all those in the Silhouette Group
"March....March.....March...Only 5 weeks till end of snow season. Although I do remember having snow one April 1st a few years ago.

Digging out has become a daily ritual up here in NH and that is only the pathways. The sides of the pathways must be 6ft. on either side. Thank goodness for snow blowers.

Now to more pleasant thoughts. Next Monday, March 2 at AE from 11 to 1 p.m. is our scheduled Silhouette group meeting. Do hope we don't get weather bombed!! and you will be able to make it.

Looking at the Silhouette blog, there are so many good ideas and info that I will pick out some to share. Don't forget to share your own projects. That is one of the highlights seeing what creative things everyone comes up with.

Drive carefully and look forward to seeing you next week."

Classes
a few notes...
All classes will need a minimum of three people in order to run, and we will give you a 72 hour notice if we need to cancel, in which case, you may take your refund as store credit or cash/cc refund (usually in the same form that you paid in.)

If you need to cancel a class on your part, here's the deal...
If it is a class taught by us, people here at the store, you need to cancel before 72 hours time, in which case you will receive a refund. Cancelations after this time period will receive the class supplies, and whatever is part of the class handouts. No refunds for cancelations after 72 hours before the class starts.

For visiting teachers, from far or near, there is a no refund policy for all classes. You may give it to a friend to use, if you wish.
