We, at Dollspart are so pleased to wish you Happy World Doll Day!! What better day than today to reflect on how blessed we are to be a part of this very special fraternity of doll lovers. Whether you are a doll artist, maker, collector, restorer, museum, etc., we all share a special bond, a passion, an enthusiasm and a love for dolls.
We honor and thank Mildred Seeley for starting this special day in June of 1986, thirty years ago!! |

| Talking about a fraternity of doll lovers, we are so pleased to share this picture of Kathleen Ivy's most enchanting HURET on our very own popular HURET Resin Jointed body. Kathleen is a doll friend and avid doll collector. What is so unique about this spectacular doll is that the head was made and painted by Mary Ann Byers, the wig is a BRAVOT wig (visit us at Dollspart for Bravot wigs), the stunning outfit and pattern were made by Mary Ann Shandor, the dainty shoes were handmade by Fran Quinn and the beautiful necklace was made by Kathleen. |

It is with the camaraderie and friendship of these doll lovers, doll artists and doll seamstresses, that their creative talent joined together so that Kathleen could enjoy and have the very desirable HURET for her own.
