With a combination of sadness and joy, I have made the decision to close our doors. After over 20 years I have decided it is time to retire and move into a very special and unique part of life. As many of you know, my wonderful husband retired several years ago and has been waiting patiently.......mostly....for me to make the same decision. I am looking forward to spending more time with my family, especially my dad who reaches the milestone of 93 this year and to share in the adventures that await John and me. This has been in the thought and prayer process for several years and as hard as it is, God's timing is always perfect.
I so love every part of this business and the many friends it has brought into my life. I will never be able to thank God enough for the privilege He has given me to be involved with so many wonderful people. You have been with me through my children growing up and now with my grandchildren, Quilting on the Kenai Extravaganza and Fashion Show, Super Bolt Sales and so much more. You have prayed with me and with my amazing employees, you have supported us through tragedies and through joy and your friendship and your unending support have meant more to me than words can express.
Attached after this note is a link to an invitation that is being released throughout the area. With so much of my heart invested into Robin Place, I have chosen to go with a helping hand to assist with some of the emotional impact of this decision. While I know this is the right choice it is also a very hard one. This shop has been an expression of my heart.
We will be continuing business, classes and regular hours through July 16th. At that time we will close our doors for 3 Days. We will reopen July 21st and initiate sales of everything in the store, fabrics, notions, books and patterns and all fixtures and equipment.
We ask that you please respect our timeline and allow us to work towards our goal. We will not be selling any fixtures or equipment until that time. Please take a moment to click on the link and read our informational letter.
In closing, I would again like to say, Thank You. You have been the heart and soul of Robin Place Fabrics and I have been abundantly blessed.
