We are so thrilled to share with you a photo of a very special doll,
DAVIDA DIOR, one of the outstanding items included in the silent auctions at the UFDC National Convention last week. What is so special about this doll for us, at Dollspart, is that it was made and named in memory of my dear husband, David.
It is our pleasure to share this photo with you today as we celebrate
NATIONAL DOLL DAY. This breathtaking and exquisite HURET was made by renowned doll artist, Darlene Lane. The many beautiful additions and accessories included and displayed were donated by wonderful and generous people in the doll world. The auction yielded a wonderful donation for UFDC, an organization that works tirelessly to promote the collecting, knowledge, research and making of dolls.
What a tribute this was to my very cherished husband, David. I will cherish the memory of this kind gesture forever in my heart!!! |
