Dear friends,
Over 12 years ago, you and this lovely community opened your heart to this stranger and make him felt like home. Even though, he was terrified and scared of unforeseen paths but your love and support carrying him and make his dream came through. Simplicity Décor and Simplicity ABC were born out of love, passion and acceptance.
Through these 2 stores, I am so grateful to meet so many wonderful people that not only are long-time customers but life-time friends (You know who you are). You all make my life more meaningful and richer in many ways.
As change is one of the certain component of living, I am excited to tell you that I have decided to depart from owning the stores to make time for myself and one I loved. I am looking forward to touch the unknown and make more friends through my next chapter. I have sold Simplicity Décor to Lisa and Michael Gunhus and it will change hand on this Friday, June 1st. Lisa has been working at Simplicity Décor since the end of 2016, she will be put her own spins and flavors to Simplicity Décor. I wish them the very best and success in this inspiring journey.
I will be working at Simplicity ABC until I find the new owner or decide to close and will also be working as a Real Estate broker at Hallmark Realty right in downtown Kirkland (You thought you could get rid of me, don’t you) and pursue a few more things that I kept pushing off.
