Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream
Meet Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream franchisees Donna Puglin(left) and Lisa Varon(right). They're sisters who live, work and are raising their families in the South Hills. In addition to being active volunteers with their churches, and their children's schools and sports, they have a big family and enjoy spending time with all of them. While searching for business opportunities, they came across Sub Zero and immediately loved the concept of flash freezing custom-mixed orders with liquid nitrogen to make a smoother, creamier product than traditional ice cream. Customers choose from a variety of cream bases and mix-ins to create an infinite number of flavor combinations, which also allows special dietary needs to be accommodated. Their store is currently under construction and is scheduled to open early January 2019. They're excited to bring this new ice cream concept to Shadyside and are looking forward to being a part of this community.
