First is "Live A Simple Life" with Karen. This is a really impressive flannel and
wool applique quilt that has all the potential of becoming a family heirloom! Karen's beautiful quilt is hanging in our store and worth a look-see!
The first of four - 3 hour classes begin on Tuesday, December 18th.

This new JNQ Dinner Plate Dahlia TOM will be taught by our certified instructor, Kelly Grant. The beautiful Mardi Gras color-way was designed by Kelly using
Batik Textiles fabrics and was featured as the cover of their 2018 Fall Collection Catalog! This impressive quilt is also hanging in our store and is well worth an up close and personal inspection. Kelly will be teaching this TOM in 4 different classes of 7 sessions each starting in February 2019. This class is great whether you're a beginner or advanced quilter. Kelly walks you through the entire process from cutting your papers and fabrics to your finished project. Class #1 is already full. Class #2 begins on Saturday, February 16th for 7 sessions. I'm sure you may be asking yourself what in the world is "TIE" ???
I'm so glad you asked ... TIE is short for Taking It Easy.
If you have been around me very long, you will acknowledge that I do not TIE very well. Most of the time I move at a pretty rapid pace, so being relegated to our house with limited mobility has been a bit of a challenge.
I will admit several household admin tasks (i.e. phone calls) are getting done that usually are passed over because of time.
Because of the digital age, I have been very blessed to set up my office on our kitchen table which includes several big windows and a beautiful view. My wonderful "day-sitter", Racheal, had been coming over while our grandsons are in school and Debe's minding the store. You will notice above, that my day-sitter, has one eye on finishing an AZQ project and the other on dad to make sure that I TIE! The evening shift, Debe, tirelessly takes over after a long day at the store! Both of my sweet girls have been doing a fine job I might add ... THANKS!

Collage Cactus w/ Gail will be held on Mon., Feb. 4 from 10am-4pm. This 11-panel cactus pattern is great. Laura Heine created a fun project. It takes time, but is well worth the effort. In this class you will begin to coordinate color using your imagination at all times. We will have lots of fun while exploring this desert masterpiece!

Girly Gym Bag w/ Karen begins on Tues., Feb. 5 from 9am-3:30pm for 2 sessions. This bag is more than just a gym bag! It's great for sewing supplies, knitting supplies, retreats or even going to the beach! Perfect to take on a trip as a carry-on bag!

Poppins Bag w/ Nanette will be held on Mon., Feb. 18 from 9:30am-3:30pm. This large zipper topped bag is great to hold all kinds of wonderful things! It is about 14 inches tall and 18 inches wide and has pockets inside and out to keep everything organized. Metal stays come with the pattern to help this bag keeps in shape. It can be made from a focus fabric or use 1 1/2 inch strips.

Dinner Plate Dahlia TOM #2 w/ Kelly will begin on Feb. 16 from 10am-4pm for 7 sessions. This is the newest of Judy's Technique of the Month patterns to be released in 2019. Once you have finished the series you will be able to do a large variety of other patterns.There are two pattern sizes to choose from. You will be contacted by Judy Niemeyer CI, Kelly Grant, for your pattern size selection.
