JC Vanegas, just 39 hours after the birth of his third daughter Lia Simone, won his first Audubon Derby Sweepstakes. The place finisher in two of the last three Sweepstakes, Vanegas birdied the fourth and fifth holes en route to outlasting his two-man partner, Terry Hyland for the victory. Alex Brey played steady golf all day but came up just short with a Show finish.
Thanks to all who played and to the 30 spectators who enjoyed watching some of the club's best players navigate ACC's lightening fast greens. Special thanks to Chris Knockwafel and his staff for the mid-afternoon golf course prep and to Michelle Vanegas for letting JC play!!
