You asked and we listened! We've had a number of customers asking about SUMMER DANCE PROGRAMS so we reached out to our teachers and here's the info that we were able to compile in one day (next year we'll plan ahead better). Many of the photos have links to the studio websites as well.

We are having three week-long sessions in our summer dance series. The weeks are June 17th to 21st, June 24th to 28th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day and July 15th to the 19th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. For more information please email Andream@andreasschoolofdance.com.

SUMMER DANCE CLASSES:
Every Monday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. we have our Tap FUNdamentals class. This is a drop-in tap class for all ages. It is primarily designed for beginners, but we welcome all difficulty levels to come and join us! The cost is $6.40 for Laurel Arts members and $8.00 for non-members. Bring your own shoes if you have them, or you can borrow shoes from us.
July 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. we have a beginning ballroom dance class. We invite you to grab your dancing shoes and your favorite partner and join us on the dance floor. The class will cover the basics of ballroom dancing to a variety of music styles. Dances covered include: Waltz, Swing, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba, and Hustle. We ask that you wear comfortable shoes with a hard sole (not rubber). Our one time fee for the four classes per couple is $38.00 for Laurel Arts members and $48.00 for non-members.
We also have free intro combo classes on June 24 from 5:00-6:00 for ages 3-5, July 29 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for ages 6-8, August 12 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. for ages 3-5, and August 12 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. for ages 6-8. A variety of dance styles will be covered. If you have dance shoes, you can bring them. If not, we have shoes here at the studio you can borrow.
In addition to our summer dance classes, we have 12 weeks of CreARTivity! Summer can be a tough time for parents who need to have daytime care for their children. We decided to give parents the ability to count on us for the entire summer. We have designed 12 summer camps packed with fun, art, and outdoor play. Camps are from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Extended hours before and after camps are available for an additional charge. Tuition for each camp is $125.00 and includes all materials (be prepared...there will be lots of stuff coming home!) We also have several discounts available! Please call the office to register for camps.

KICKSTART
RED - IVG (Must take to perform in our performance on June 20th at the State Theatre for Theatre and Dance Fest)
This one week workshop will focus on clean technique and the artistry of ballet. Daily classes will include Ballet, pointe/pointe prep with supplemental rehearsal time to gear up for our performance in Theatre and Dance Fest on Friday, June 20. We will be offering some guest artists for all levels throughout the week. This session will be offered from 9:00-3:00pm Monday thru Friday June 17-20. The cost for this session will be $219.00
THE INTENSIVE RED-IVG
10 days of intense focus on clean, sound technique and the artistry of ballet. Daily classes will include Ballet, Pointe/Pointe Prep with supplemental classes in Jazz, Contemporary and Modern. For the second week our younger dancer will have the opportunity to enjoy a craft and the chance to watch the older dancers work.
We are so lucky to offer classes from Paul Boos, of The Balanchine Trust. George Balanchine is the “Father Of American Ballet” and the creator of New York City Ballet and The School of American Ballet. Our student will learn first hand the techniques and styles they were taught by the founder of American Ballet.

Wolf's Performing Arts' Summer 2019
Jump into summer with our dance and baton classes! We have some new classes this summer and many old favorites to keep your child moving and learning through July and August! Due to our recent fire at the studio, all summer classes will be held at the Young People's Community Center, 300 Prave St., Ebensburg.
Summer Sampler
Recreational for ages 4 to 8
5:30-6:45PM Monday August 12 only (not recurring)
Wolf's Summer Sampler includes a short sample lesson in each of 5 different dance styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Baton & Hip Hop. Samplers are a great way for your young performer to try out different genres and find a new favorite before registering for the fall season! Just $10 covers all these mini classes held on one evening from 5:30-6:45. Attire is shorts and tees/tanks. Loaner tap shoes and batons will be provided. This is not a recurring Monday class.
Hip Hop Dance Club
Recreational for ages 5 to 10
5:30-6:30PM Mondays July 9 through August 19
$60 for 7 weeks, 1 hour/week
Cutting edge dance with an energetic and upbeat style. In this fun student instructor-led club, beginner and intermediate dancers will learn different hip hop moves and combinations each week.
Baton & Dance Cadet Summer Combo
Recreational for ages 4 to 8
5:15-6:15PM Tuesdays July 9 through August 19 with Michaela Gerney
$70 for 7 weeks, 1 hour/week
This summer series combo class includes baton, ballet and jazz, stressing correct technique, proper progression of skills, creative movement & fun! A great summer class to work on skills and find a new favorite!
Dance Summer Combo
Recreational for ages 7-11
5:15-6:15PM Tuesdays July 9 through August 19 with Brandy Eckenrod
$70 for 7 weeks, 1 hour/week
This summer series covers ballet, jazz and lyrical. Students will work on proper technique, skills and combinations. A fun summer class to work on your skills or find a new favorite!
Contemporary
Recreational & Competitive for ages 13+
6:30-8:00PM Wednesdays July 10 through August 21 with Sierra Gdula
$105 for 7 weeks, 1.5 hours/week
This class will incorporate ballet fundamentals to greatly improve students' technical scores in their competitive dances throughout the year. We will strip this technique portion down to the key elements of a ballet foundation such as turnout, pelvic alignment, knee/ankle alignment and balance. As we move into the contemporary portion of the class, we will shift toward more contemporary skills and tricks, as well as begin experimenting with choreographic phrasework for next year's competitive routine. This class is for those interested in joining the competitive team for the 2019/20 season, but can also be taken by recreational students.
Junior Contemporary
Recreational & Competitive for approx. ages 8-12
5:30-6:30PM Wednesdays July 10 through August 21 with Sierra Gdula
$80 for 7 weeks, 1 hour/week
Class structure similar to Contemporary, involving ballet technique, contemporary skills and tricks, as well as experimenting with choreographic phrasework for next year's competitive routine. This class is for those younger performers interested in joining the competitive team for the 2019/20 season, but can also be taken by recreational students.
Conditioning
Recreational ages 10 through Adult
8:00-8:30PM Wednesdays July 10 through August 21 with Sierra Gdula
$50 for 7 weeks, 1/2 hour/week ($70 for both classes when combined with Stretch)
Focuses on strength training for the summer. The beginning portion of class will be geared toward abs & core, then we will work on lower body & upper body with simple exercises that can be done at home. The goal is to build muscle for athletic choreography, but great for dancers and non-dancers alike!
Stretch
Recreational ages 10 through Adult
8:30-9:00PM Wednesdays July 10 through August 21 with Sierra Gdula
$50 for 7 weeks, 1/2 hour/week ($70 for both classes when combined with Conditioning)
Stretch/yoga-based class including leg & hip stretches, strength holds, balances moving slowly for deep relaxation and stretching closing with meditation. Great for dancers and non-dancer alike! Ages 10 through adult are welcome.
Baton Summer Package
Recreational & Competitive ages 8+ (multiple instructors)
6:00-8:00PM Thursdays July 11 through August 22
$80 for 7 weeks, 2 hours/week
This package includes 7 weeks of 2-hour weekly classes in baton including wraps and rolls, tosses, exchanges, 2/3 baton and skill-building badge work. This class is required for all Wolf's competitive twirlers ages 8 and up, but is also a great program for performers who want to improve their skills no matter where they twirl! Classes are held at the Young People's Community Center in Ebensburg.
Hip Hop Competitive Team Placements
Competitive - ages 5 through 18
6:00-7:00PM Mondays July 15, 22 & 29. Dancers choose 2 of these 3 dates.
$25 for placements
Wolf's competitive hip hop teams are open to everyone. Dancers choose 2 of the 3 placement dates. Placements determine which team is best for each performer. All dancers will be placed on a team. Detailed team packets will be available mid June, but registration for placements is open online now.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available in all genres of dance & baton for $20/ ½ hour lesson. Contact us for more information.
