After being gifted with an enchanted Nutcracker doll, Clara is taken through a dream-like tale of battling soldiers and mice, a snowy journey, and finally to the Land of Sweets and flowers where she is delighted by entertainers from across the land. Performers ranging in age from toddlers to adults will complement the traditional ballet with a variety of dance styles as we add our own special spin on this timeless story!

Charlene’s School of Dance will present ‘The Nutcracker Ballet All Jazz’d Up’ on December 6th at 7:00 and December 8th at 2:00 at Penn Cambria High School Auditorium in Cresson.
CSD has been performing this jazzy twist on the Nutcracker for the past 19 years. Join us for this holiday tradition that sweeps this whirling into the magical world of Clara, the Mouse King and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Advance tickets may be purchased at the studio. Available seats will be sold at the door. Tickets are $12. For information or tickets call 886-2777.

The Studio on 5th Dance Academy is celebrating their 5th Anniversary this season!! Please join them for their first ever Christmas show, “TSO5 presents, On the 5th Day of Christmas”! It will be an afternoon of the TSO5 dancers swirling, twirling, and strutting to your favorite Christmas melodies! The dancers will also be performing their Rockette routine - a 5 year tradition! The entire academy will be performing at the Mishler Theatre Sunday, December 22nd at 3pm. You don’t want to miss this new holiday tradition!!
