Please join us for our Mingle and Jingle Open House. Take time out for yourself, see friends, and show off some of your homemade sewing gifts for the holidays. As our customary tradition, we will have refreshments made by BWOS staff.
If you like, you can join in the fun with our block raffle. Just complete a pieced or appliqued finished 9" Christmas block (9 1/2" x 9 1/2" including seam allowance) made with the colors of Christmas; red, green, white and gold. You could be the lucky winner to win these amazing blocks. This will be a wonderful time to celebrate with great friends and to meet new ones.

Improve hooping skills: better understand the features on your machine that allow you to tweak the position of the design within the hoop. Get tips and techniques that make your embroidery flat, fun and flawless!

This is a monthly series of fully designed technique classes for the Studio 180 Design Tools by Deb Tucker. This series is intended to offer you an exciting opportunity to build your skills and accuracy. In each Tucker University class, a different Studio 180 Design tool will be taught. You will cut and make 4” units so each month you can combine and create new blocks. Each class will build upon the previous one, making design possibilities endless.
(You can end up with a coordinated sampler when you’re finished if you use the same fabric collection.)

Let’s get together every month and work on our hand appliqué projects. Many of us have one we have started and set aside, or not yet started – or maybe you’ve been working fast and furious on one. I know some of you have Baltimore Album quilts you would like some help with. If you’ve never tried hand appliqué, this is your chance to try it. Working together we can encourage each other, teach each other, and celebrate our accomplishments together.
I have been doing Needleturn Appliqué for many years and have books and projects (not to mention pretty blue ribbons) I would love to share. And, to be honest, I would love to have a group of friends to sew with.
Bring your own projects. I’ll provide the coffee!
